Everything comes from a perimeter, a line in the ground that delimits what will be the house. In this case, nature was the first guest, providing a circular clearing where the building is born, which in each side observes the trees that surround it with the respect of never touching them.

Villa dell'Eclissi is one of the results of the design research of studio Hus, aimed at creating design jewels in unique natural contexts. Starting from a reverential approach to the olive grove, the house is structured in a concentric way in two main areas. On the external facades are housed the spaces of intimacy which frame the landscape in windows that become paintings, designed to disappear leaving all the concentration of the guest turned to what happens outside the openings and loggias. This collection of natures develops in the four double bedrooms, in the covered loggias and in the bathrooms of the master and junior-master rooms. Each room is different in colour, furnishings and lighting, developed in collaboration with brands of excellence such as Cassina and Artemide to provide visitors with a range of possible experiences in each space. The rooms together with the kitchen overlook the heart of the house: the large living room designed to wrap its guests among its curved walls providing a cool shelter away from the Apulian sun, but warm in the soft shapes of the space and its furnishings. The living room overlooks the pool and the garden, visually and physically crossing the bark of the rooms like a grotto that opens towards nature in a single grand gesture. The large window that divides the living room from the outdoor dining room disappears inside the walls eliminating any filter between the guest and the landscape. The two external dining rooms are very different from each other: the first, at ground level, is protected by a large sliding roof that like an eclipse protects the table from the sun when necessary; the second, on the roof of the house and equipped with its barbecue, extends its gaze to the sea in the cool evening breeze and the scents of the olive grove.
